    Geun-taek Yoo (b. 1965, Asan, Korea) received a BFA in oriental painting in 1988 and an MFA in the same subject in 1997 from Hongik University, Seoul. He is a professor at the Department of Oriental Painting of Sungshin Women’s University. His solo exhibitions include Breath of Life (Korea Society Gallery, New York, 2016), and A Walk Through Time (Sungkok Art Museum, Seoul, 2017). He participated in group exhibitions including Variants of Objects (Daejeon Museum of Art, Korea, 2017), MEGA BRIDGE (Nigata Bandaijima beach, Japan, 2018), and New Acquisitions 2017-2018 (MMCA, Gwacheon, Korea, 2019). He recently held a duo exhibition A Walk Through Landscape (Nook Gallery, Seoul, 2020) with Hong-goo Kang.
